Namaste, I'm Bhagwati
I teach Vedic maths to children from Std 1 to 10 in Goregaon West. I hold a B.Ed and an M.Com, and I completed my Vedic maths training under Dhaval Bhatia in 2024.
In 10 years of teaching, I have worked in preschools and a primary school, and given private tuition up to Std 12. That has shown me how children learn at every age.
Many children are scared of maths because of long steps and big numbers. Vedic maths turns those steps into small patterns they can do in their head. Confidence comes first, and speed follows.

What is Vedic Maths?
A set of 16 short Sanskrit formulas that turn long sums into quick mental steps. Here's a 1-minute introduction for parents.
Where it comes from
Jagadguru Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji of Puri presented this system of 16 sutras (word-formulas). His book Vedic Mathematics was published in 1965.
How it works
Each sutra is a short, easy-to-remember phrase, such as “Vertically and crosswise”. It describes a pattern that solves a whole family of sums in fewer steps.
Why children love it
Fewer steps, quicker mental maths and a simple way to check answers. Maths stops feeling like a burden and starts feeling like a game.

Will Vedic maths confuse my child with the school method?
No. Vedic maths reaches the same answers by a shorter route. In school exams, your child should still show working the way the teacher expects, and can use Vedic methods to work faster and check answers.
Who started Vedic maths?

Which standards do you teach?
Std 1 to 10, from any school or board. We check your child's level first, then suggest the right batch.
Who teaches the classes?
Bhagwati teaches every class. She has a B.Ed, an M.Com and 10 years of teaching experience, and she completed her Vedic maths training under Dhaval Bhatia in 2024.
How big is a batch?
Batches are kept small so that every child gets personal attention and can ask questions freely.
